I Ate Us...er...Hiatus

Hi everyone.
I think I need to put this blog on hiatus for a while.
The weight loss and other goals I've listed are still in process but I can't seem to stay relevant or up to date on this blog front.
I am working a lot on my home, my other favoured blog "Beauty and Old Things; Inspiration for CrowNology", my photographing skills (get to work on that Canon Karen!), trying to set up an area to get pics taken for my CrowNology Esty 'shop-to-be' and also the whole Christmas (and slew of birthdays) thing...
So I will probably not be posting much here.
I may "turn off" the public access to it until I can fully focus...
I will be posting most days on my other blog and would love for you to drop by...It's about inspiration, beautiful things and increasingly, photography.
I wish you all success and the best that life can bring.

Oh on another "lighter" note I noticed my scale is made in "Hungary"...heh.
And I am two pounds lighter than last week. :)

Confessions from Last Night

Where were you last night?
I was eating my way through everything I could lay my hands upon.
Blegh.
I was unable to sleep and was frustrated because I wanted to get up early the next morning {today...I slept in late :( } and do some reno work around the house.
So I got up and went to the fridge.
Huge Mistake!!

I ate a small bowl of Fiber One cereal with skim milk...I thought maybe that would "fill me up" because the feeling in my stomach wasn't from hunger. I was from feeling so completely unable to control my sleeping pattern. Then I remembered the Oatmeal Apricot cookies Andrew and I bought at the cafe down the street...5...out of 12 I ate five at 1 am...Then I had a slice of smoked turkey breast...3 caramels {if they were unwrapped I may have ate the entire bag. Thankful for wrapped caramels.} I think that was it. I made myself climb back in bed. I read and read until 4 am...I can control my eating until I am tired. After I am tired it seems anything can happen!

I do not understand why sleeping consistently evades me...But I do know it is causing a lot of issues for me.

Does anyone have any advice?
I think I may need a complete overhaul.

Hope you are well rested and warm today!
xoxo

I Will. My Will(s)...

I am back to 188lbs.
I will lose 2.5lbs this week.
I will bounce on my trampoline every night this week.
Rebounding is actually a good exercise.
I will do yoga twice this week.
I will meditate and take care of my mental health more this week.
I will write my food intake down and record the calories.
I will be focused on being happy and healthy this week.
(And the rest of the 73 days left of this year...)

I will create some new photos/art to use for this blog.
I will print this and post it around the house...
Love and thoughts of wellness to you.

I am very ill.
My father asked if I've been hanging out with any pigs.
"Not of the barnyard variety"...
Be back soon!

Tip of the Day from my Email...

From Best Health Magazine, Tip of the Day...

Your body is your vehicle for life: If you take care of it, your journey will be one to remember. Your mind is the driver: Guide it well and you will live a life of happiness. Together, they are boundless.
-Darlene Lee, Toronto

Weigh In...

I am down to 189lbs again, 1lb from where I was hoping to be but I'll take it.

There have been many lovely opportunities to overindulge lately.
Thanksgiving
.
Chocolate
, chocolate chip zucchini bread from Andrew's Mother. Blueberry pudding with hot buttered rum sauce...
I have a little and then make sure the rest is in Andrew's lunch or given away before I feel the urge to "have a little" more...

Preserved Plum (with blueberries and oranges) Thanksgiving gifts...

I hope we will be going to the pool tomorrow but I have a runny nose (too gross to even think of bringing it to a pool!) and a sore throat and Andrew came home from work today feeling like I did yesterday. So it doesn't look promising. It seems we are being conspired against!

Stoke your fires and burn off some extra calories before our inheritance makes us want to hibernate. I have a feeling it's going to be long winter here. Probably a hard one too. I already feel like curling up.

Is there anything special you do at this time of year to keep your spirits up?

I hope you are all in fine form as fall sets in around us...xoxo
